Seriotype Mani with Native War Paints TWD Heartthrob Trio

Purchased by Me

Hello again, polish friends!  Today I wanted to share my Valentine's Day mani...it was also the mid season premier of The Walking Dead and some of us wanted to do a mani collab for the occasion.

Here I tried out a seriotype mani that I learned by watching Nichole of the blog Bedlam Beauty.  It's not up to her skill, but I couldn't decide which of the trio to use, so this was a good option, I thought.
Native War Paints Shot by Cupid's Crossbow, I'm Dating a Daredevil, Officer Handsome were all sponged on randomly.
I added 2 coats of The Elusive Fox by Frenzy Polish to my accent nail to be the base for my TWD nail decal by Green Goddess Creations.  Because Daryl!  I painted the back white to make sure he stood out amongst all the sparkles...he's not Edward, you know!
Then I stamped with the Zombie Love plate from Uber Chic Beauty with M Polish To Have and to Holo.

TWD all the things!  Thanks for popping by!

Valentine's Day Nails

Purchased by Me

I'm late, I'm late...for a very important date!  Okay, not really important, but I am late showing my mani for Valentine's eve.

Here I used 2 of the three polishes in the Valentine's Day 2015 Trio from Frenzy Polish.  If you love Grey's Anatomy, you need these!  They're all named after lines from the show.  You're My Person, Pick Me. Choose Me. Love Me, & Dark & Twisty.  Oh, how I love thee!  The two I used were You're My Person & Pick Me. Choose Me. Love Me.  Then I stamped using Mundo de Unas for the first time...I was not impressed.  I used the shade called Merry from the Christmas 2015 collection.  It was super thick, like way thicker than any polish (stamping or no) has any right to be and a little stringy.  I'm hoping they're not all like that.  I can deal with the smell, but I wanted it to stamp exceptionally well.  I used plate 1-03 from Uber Chic Beauty.

Have you had any issues with Mundo de Unas polish?  Maybe something I can try?  Let me know in the comments.  Thanks for popping by!

Love Me, Love Me Not Duo Collab

Gift

Hello, polish loving friends!  Today I want to share with you a duo collab for Valentine's Day (or any other day) by Anonymous Lacquer & Supernatural Lacquer.  It's called Love Me, Love Me Not; inspired by the Greek God of Love and Goddess of Hate.  It consists of 2 full sized polishes and free shipping for $18 from Anon's shop.

Eros, by Anonymous Lacquer, is a glitter topper with a clear base.  It's full of different sizes and shapes of glitter in pink, white, iridescent and gold glitters.  I love the mini hearts!  I added one coat over a gradient for this look and topped with 1 coat of top coat.  Absolutely no fishing was required to get the larger glitters out of the bottle.  Perfect formula for a glitter topper!

Eridas, by Supernatural Lacquer, is a shimmery gun metal gray with scattered holo effect.
2 coats for this swatch with top coat.  The first coat was a bit streaky, but the second deepened it and smoothed out perfectly.  I am really loving the scattered holo these days.

Because I had to combine them...the 2 middle fingers I taped off and sponged on 2 coats of Eros.  It's not my favorite mani, but it's okay.

Be sure to check out Anonymous Lacquer and Supernatural Lacquer!  Thank you for stopping by!

Custom: Sister's Keeper

Gift

Today I wanted to share a custom that was made for me as a gift by the owner of Gunpowder Lacquer, Carly.  It's called Sister's Keeper in memory of my sissy who was killed on November 19, 2015 while in Jackson, MS on a training trip for work.  It is so tragic and the nail community really stepped up to help support me.  This was one of those times when someone did something so selfless that really made an impact on me.  Thank you doesn't seem adequate!  I can pull this out when I'm feeling particularly upset and it brings me a sense of calm.

Sister's Keeper is berry colored linear holo that is absolutely gorgeous!  I was so touched when I saw the name, and ecstatic with the color and formula.  This polish is shown in only ONE coat with glossy top coat.  Super easy to apply, I had next to no clean up.  If you get the chance to order a custom polish from Carly, you won't be disappointed!

Little Duck by Frenzy Polish

Purchased by Me

I actually picked a polish and stamp design to match my outfit...that's unheard of for just a normal day running around.

I chose Little Duck from Frenzy Polish.  It's a taupe holographic with tiny purple shreds and it is so beautiful!  I immediately got compliments on it!

I stamped with KBShimmer Bahama Drama and Bundle Monster plate 406 because it sort of matched my outfit too.

TWD Daryl Dixon Inspired Mani

Purchased by Me |

Good afternoon all!  I did a mani over the weekend inspired by Daryl Dixon from The Walking Dead.

It was the first time I used the base color from Native War Paints called No Sanctuary.  I used 2 coats.  It applied smoothly without any running or pooling at the sides of my nails.  It was a a bit sheer on the first coat, but the second really built up the color.  It's a stunner!  It's described as a black holographic packed with red shimmer and a scattering of red micro glitter.

I then stamped using a Daryl look-alike image.  I used M Polish To Have and To Holo, Zombie Love plate from Uber Chic Beauty, clear jelly stamper purchased from eBay.  To finish it off I used a little Silver Arrow charm from Shelsea's shop Charmed & Dangerous.
